I must admit it: I'm one of those people who who always jumping on the bandwagon of trying a new product. After all, how do you know if you'll like it if you don't try it. I enjoy trying new products, but as I'm the stereotypical poor student, I can't always afford to but the full priced product. When I heard that the February edition of Elle Magazine was to come out with a sample of Benefits new Roller Lash Mascara, I knew I had to have it. It isn't even available at the Benefit counters or on their website yet.
The sample packaging (because the packaging will differ with the full sized product) is very pretty: A black bottomed tube with the words 'Roller Lash' in cursive up the front in pink. The lid is a dusty rose pink colour, with an effect that is similar to metal.
The wand has got rubber bristles, which seem to have a curve effect. There are longer bristles on one side than there are on the other. There a tiny little hooks embedded in the bristles which makes it far easier to grab the eyelashes and curl them.
I was so super excited to try this product, and I can now see why. My lashes are super defined and defined. All this with only one coat two. The colour is super ultra-black.
My only problem is that the formula is slightly thick. I'd probably not use this as an everyday mascara due to my eyes looking slightly heavier and dark.
Benefit's Roller Lash will be launching at the end of February 2015 for £19.50.
