Makeup Revolution GO! Palette

Cast your minds way, way back to Black Friday. You may remember that Makeup Revolution were giving away £25 worth of products for free. This was one of the goodies that came in that package!

Makeup Revolutions Go! Palette includes everything that you would need for a full face look. The palette is perfect for when you are on the go (hence the name!), or for if you are extremely lazy like me and have t get ready in a hurry. There is a blusher, bronzer, highlighter, and six eye shadows. The palette can be fairly compared to the Tarte Rainforest After Dark Coloured Clay Eye and Cheek Palette. I don't have that palette, but I have seen many photos of it online, and would agree on their similarity.

The six eye shadows seemed to be picked with the intention of being used for everyday looks. They are super soft and buttery feeling. As you can see the pigmentation is very good! I'd have loved for the eye shadows to have been named, so I can say 'Oh! I used ... from the Go! Palette'.

The blush, highlighter and bronzer are all of the same consistency and pigmentation as the eye shadows. The shades are great for me with my pale skin, as they show up very well.

The Blush is such a bright petal pink colour, and would be perfect for the upcoming spring season. The bronzer is a much more muted colour. It's a dirty pale brown colour, which I would most likely compare with Benefit's Hoola. It's great because it's not too orange or golden in tone. The highlighter is one of the best that I have ever tried! Is not too overfilled with shimmer which is what makes it so perfect!

Anyone else tried this palette? I'd love to know what you think!

MAC: Fraud or Not?

It's getting to the time of year when  people start gathering together all there gifts in the rush to the holiday season. They start trying to get the best gifts possible for the best price they can. Unfortunately that leaves them vulnerable for people to take advantage of them. The most common form of this is through the use of counterfeit goods.
Recently a MAC lipstick was purchased for me, as a Christmas gift, from eBay. When I learned of it I was immediately sceptical and dubious of how genuine it was; I like to research into the item and view the pictures available myself. When I checked the listing, the lipstick was listed as 'MAC Amplified Creme Lipstick'. Upon looking at the details and the images available, I noticed that there were very few specifics and one general image of the lipstick with the lid off. I immediately wrote to the seller asking for pictures of the bottom label on the box and the lipstick tube (Well as details such as finish and shade). I knew th…

Barry M Colour Changing Lip Paint in Neptune

Remember way, way back, back to the very beginning of my blog. One of the very first products that I reviewed was the Barry M Lip Paint in the shade Genie. For those who don't know, Genie is an unusual colour changing lipstick. While it looks green in the tube, it turns a shade of pink on the lips that is supposed to be different for each person. It is supposed to be a result of the lipstick reacting to the alkaline level of the lips.

A Different Take on The Maybelline Color Tattoo?!

I don't know about you guys but I am obsessed with the Maybelline Color Tattoos! Quite often during the summer I will just pop some of the On and On Bronze onto my lids and I will be good to go. When I was on a last minute dash to Walgreens the day before my flight home from Florida, I spotted some of the Maybelline Color Tattoo Eye Chromes hidden on a bottom shelf at the BACK of the beauty aisles. I was so excited that it flew into my basket.
