New Favourite Lipstick

I bought a new MAC Lippie! Then again that's no surprise, I can't go any longer than a couple of weeks without splurging. It's a problem I need cured of...
The latest addition to my collection is Creme Cup. I thought that since the majority of my MACs were bright, bold reds that I should perhaps go for something a little more understated.  Everybody in the beauty community rave about Creme Cup being that perfect 'pinky nude', so I just had to give in and surrender my money.

Creme Cup is a a light blue toned pink shade, that is of a cremesheen formulation. It is much more subtle and wearable than my Saint Germain. The colour can be as bright or as subtle as you want; the lipstick is very buildable. The cremesheen formula has a very nice creamy texture (as the name inplies), but I also find that the lipstick has a tenancy to seep into any cracks in my lips. It sits much better if I first scrub and balm my lips beforehand.

The only downside, and I'm being very picky to even mention this, is that it doesn't last very long on my lips. On a good day it can last up to roughly two and a half hours, which means it typically has to be shoved into my handbag when I'm out and about.

Barry M Colour Changing Lip Paint in Neptune

Remember way, way back, back to the very beginning of my blog. One of the very first products that I reviewed was the Barry M Lip Paint in the shade Genie. For those who don't know, Genie is an unusual colour changing lipstick. While it looks green in the tube, it turns a shade of pink on the lips that is supposed to be different for each person. It is supposed to be a result of the lipstick reacting to the alkaline level of the lips.

MAC: Fraud or Not?

It's getting to the time of year when  people start gathering together all there gifts in the rush to the holiday season. They start trying to get the best gifts possible for the best price they can. Unfortunately that leaves them vulnerable for people to take advantage of them. The most common form of this is through the use of counterfeit goods.
Recently a MAC lipstick was purchased for me, as a Christmas gift, from eBay. When I learned of it I was immediately sceptical and dubious of how genuine it was; I like to research into the item and view the pictures available myself. When I checked the listing, the lipstick was listed as 'MAC Amplified Creme Lipstick'. Upon looking at the details and the images available, I noticed that there were very few specifics and one general image of the lipstick with the lid off. I immediately wrote to the seller asking for pictures of the bottom label on the box and the lipstick tube (Well as details such as finish and shade). I knew th…

A Different Take on The Maybelline Color Tattoo?!

I don't know about you guys but I am obsessed with the Maybelline Color Tattoos! Quite often during the summer I will just pop some of the On and On Bronze onto my lids and I will be good to go. When I was on a last minute dash to Walgreens the day before my flight home from Florida, I spotted some of the Maybelline Color Tattoo Eye Chromes hidden on a bottom shelf at the BACK of the beauty aisles. I was so excited that it flew into my basket.
