Kat von D Everlasting Liquid Lipstick in Susperia

I'm not gonna lie; I bought a lot of makeup over in America. Many of the next post will involve products that may only be available in the States (to my knowledge!). I went to the Sephora in the Florida Mall and they were nearly cleared out of all the shades of the Kat von D Everlasting Liquid Lipstick, so I had limited choice. That's not to say that I'm unhappy with what I picked(in fact, I really love it), I was just disappointed a bit.

I picked up the Liquid Lipstick in the shade Susperia. Susperia is a muted fuchsia colour, that leans towards being more purply toned. This particular colour, i feel, is very flattering on many skintones. I was very into deep fall colours and purples on this trip which is reflected in most of my purchases.

I wanted to try liquid lipsticks as they have been super popular this year and I had yet to try a single one. I found that it is the longest lasting formulation of liquid lipstick that I have tried; compared against is Anastasia Beverly Hills liquid lipsticks. The formula is very comfortable to wear and does not feel drying in the slightest. It dries quickly, but not so quickly that you can't get a neat application. I don't think that there is any scent or taste to this, but I am just getting over the flu and my senses are still impaired.

Photos are a bit rubbish compared to usual as the light I usually use broke. I need to see if I can find anything to substitute until I can buy a new one. I really love this liquid lipstick, I wear it all the time now. I wish I had picked up more, but alas, it was not meant to be....this year ;)

Barry M Colour Changing Lip Paint in Neptune

Remember way, way back, back to the very beginning of my blog. One of the very first products that I reviewed was the Barry M Lip Paint in the shade Genie. For those who don't know, Genie is an unusual colour changing lipstick. While it looks green in the tube, it turns a shade of pink on the lips that is supposed to be different for each person. It is supposed to be a result of the lipstick reacting to the alkaline level of the lips.

MAC: Fraud or Not?

It's getting to the time of year when  people start gathering together all there gifts in the rush to the holiday season. They start trying to get the best gifts possible for the best price they can. Unfortunately that leaves them vulnerable for people to take advantage of them. The most common form of this is through the use of counterfeit goods.
Recently a MAC lipstick was purchased for me, as a Christmas gift, from eBay. When I learned of it I was immediately sceptical and dubious of how genuine it was; I like to research into the item and view the pictures available myself. When I checked the listing, the lipstick was listed as 'MAC Amplified Creme Lipstick'. Upon looking at the details and the images available, I noticed that there were very few specifics and one general image of the lipstick with the lid off. I immediately wrote to the seller asking for pictures of the bottom label on the box and the lipstick tube (Well as details such as finish and shade). I knew th…

A Different Take on The Maybelline Color Tattoo?!

I don't know about you guys but I am obsessed with the Maybelline Color Tattoos! Quite often during the summer I will just pop some of the On and On Bronze onto my lids and I will be good to go. When I was on a last minute dash to Walgreens the day before my flight home from Florida, I spotted some of the Maybelline Color Tattoo Eye Chromes hidden on a bottom shelf at the BACK of the beauty aisles. I was so excited that it flew into my basket.
