Since my return from the States, my skin has taken a turn for the worse. I've started to notice spots forming along my chin and nose, which makes me feel all 'bleugh'. I used to suffer quite badly with spots when I was younger, so any occurrences make me feel like I'm back to being a spotty twelve year old. Honestly, not a good point in my life. I thought I'd use this time to try the Sephora Green Tea Fiber Face Mask.
I'd seen these pop out on a few blogs before my trip, so they were very much top of my 'to buy' list. There were six different varieties to purchase, but I picked two that worked for the problems my skin experienced.
The Green Tea mask, in particular, focused on being mattifying and anti-blemish. I had never used a fiver mask before; all the masks I had used before were creme formulas, like from Lush. The application was quite tricky as it seemed to wrinkle excessively no matter how I shaped it. I did have a good time scaring my mother with it! The mask was very oily which is what made it cling to my face (although I still felt like I had to lie back so that it didn't fall off).
Upon removing the mask, a lot of the oils remained behind which you are instructed to massage into the skin and leave to absorb. I was dubious to this as my skin felt super oily and uncomfortable, but I retained judgment for the next morning. Sure enough, my skin was less oily and more matte looking than it usually is. The area around my nose however was still as oily as always.
Will you be picking up a few of these?
