Rarely do I spend such a great amount of time out that I do need to fix my makeup. Nor do I ever think about touching up any of my makeup other than my lips. Throughout a typical day I could only say that I notice my foundation fading. I'm back at Uni now, which means I can spend up to 12 hours out and about. I also have more special night events to attend this semester which will require a more long lasting look.
I bought the Makeup Revolution Pro Fix Spray back in October for Halloween parties, and the Christmas Holidays thinking it would be a good introducing to setting sprays without having to pay a lot more for the Urban Decay All Nighter Makeup Setting Spray; although I now also have a travel size of the Urban Decay.
The nozzle allows for an even distribution of the spray over the face; I usually find that two pumps is about average. The spray does leave my face feeling a bit damp for a minute or two until it dries, which is not a massive problem. In fact, I can see it being refreshing during warm summer weather. I like that it is a smaller bottle which makes it especially travel friendly. I tend to chuck it into whatever handbag I'm using at the time. One thing that it doesn't help, nor does it claim to, is oil control. I still end up as oily as normal with this on. Makeup Revolution have a oil control version of the spray which I may try next.
This is a really good budget friendly setting spray that does what it says. It makes my makeup last long enough during long days that I don't have to retouch. It takes some of the hassle out of having to keep checking what my makeups like when I'm at a more formal event, such as the various University dances on at this time.
What setting sprays have you tried, loved and cannot live without?
