Product Empties | Would I Repurchase?

Being beauty obsessed, it's very rare I finish up a product. Whenever I see my empties bag getting fuller I feel so accomplished. For the past six months, I have been amassing all of the products that I've either finished or have gotten well past their expiration date. Not committing to a full declutter, but if I go to use a product and it seems 'off', I'll toss it in by empties bag. My largest struggle with this is that I'm always forgetting to pop my products in the bag. I share a bathroom, so I'll often find products that should be in my empties bag, in the bin. I need to get better about putting them straight in the bag.

I, personally, love a good empties blog post. I love seeing what people liked or didn't like, or they might repurchase or not. However, I have now collected so much that this post could go on forever. I've decided to split this over several parts instead, having a handful of products in each post.

Soap and Glory Righteous Butter
This is absolutely my all-time favourite body butter! I am so in love with it that I'm already half way through my new pot. After using this, my skin feels so smooth and hydrated. I recently had some dry patches pop up on my body, and this has This smells like their Original Pink scent, which is very uplifting to me. I have been using this for so long that I automatically associate it with relaxing and pampering myself.

Soap and Glory Whipped Clean
Another one of my favourite Soap and Glory products. Whipped Clean is designed is be both a shower wash and moisturiser, as it contains so many oils and butters. This cream so much goodness, such as cocoa butter, shea butter, and sweet almond oil, to name a few. The scent is unbelievable. This smells of the Smoothie Star scent, which has to be my favourite Soap and Glory scent. The vanilla and almond act to leave the skin smelling like a yummy vanilla cake. I probably will repurchase this, but not for a while because I already have too many shower potions and lotions.

Lush The Comforter Shower Cream
I've just realised this post is half shower products, which I apologise for, but I love a relaxing shower. The Lush Comforter. Where do I start? It is probably my Lush product; the one that I will always repurchase whenever I go in the store. The blackcurrant-y goodness is just so nostalgic to me and reminds me of the blackcurrant squash I love so much when I'm sick. It is pure nostalgia in a bottle, which I applaud Lush for. I will repurchase this, but I have so many shower products that I need to whittle them down first.

Urban Decay Naked Skin Weightless Complete Coverage Concealer
I really enjoy the Naked Skin concealer, it currently tops my list of favourite concealers. The shade range goes light enough that I can actually go one step lighter than my skin tone and have a brightening concealer! If I set this right, I can go most of the day without seeing any creases or signs of it becoming patchy. This is another product that I have already repurchased, and to be honest, I am probably away to repurchase for the second time in the very near future.

Maybelline Fit Me! Matte + Poreless
The Maybelline Fit Me! Matte + Poreless is a big hit with me. The colour match between this and my skin is on point. There have been many times were I've had to compromise on a shade match and go either a shade darker in the right undertone, or a shade with a yellower undertone but pale enough. I love the matte finish it gives my skin; matte but not emphasising the odd dry patch on my face. I have already opened my next bottle of it, and I'm still loving it.

I'd love to know what some of your recent empty products are. Or if you have used any of these products, what were your thoughts?

MAC: Fraud or Not?

It's getting to the time of year when  people start gathering together all there gifts in the rush to the holiday season. They start trying to get the best gifts possible for the best price they can. Unfortunately that leaves them vulnerable for people to take advantage of them. The most common form of this is through the use of counterfeit goods.  Recently a MAC lipstick was purchased for me, as a Christmas gift, from eBay. When I learned of it I was immediately sceptical and dubious of how genuine it was; I like to research into the item and view the pictures available myself. When I checked the listing, the lipstick was listed as 'MAC Amplified Creme Lipstick'. Upon looking at the details and the images available, I noticed that there were very few specifics and one general image of the lipstick with the lid off. I immediately wrote to the seller asking for pictures of the bottom label on the box and the lipstick tube (Well as details such as finish and shade). I kn

Totally Fabby MAC Lipstick!

I'm in the middle of shopping for new products; sort of preparing for the transition from winter to spring. Instead of picking up deep burgundies and warm chocolates, I have started to pick up pastel pinks and vanillas. I cannot wait of the warmer weather to roll in.  MAC frost lipstick in the shade Fabby was one of those new seasonal additions I picked up recently. Fabby is a really muted rosy pink shade with a frost finish. The draw point, for me, is the frost sheen gives kind of a golden overlay to the lips. The golden tone just adds an extra dimension, and helps brighten up any makeup look.  For being a frost finish, the colour pigmentation is quite opaque with a single swipe. The texture is not that creamy, and I don't mean that in a bad way. I'd describe it more as very similar to that of a MAC matte finish; creamy and not glossy. I feel that Fabby is one of MACs more overlooked shades; passed over in favour of the more hyped about lipstic

Barry M Colour Changing Lip Paint in Neptune

Remember way, way back, back to the very beginning of my blog. One of the very first products that I reviewed was the Barry M Lip Paint in the shade Genie. For those who don't know, Genie is an unusual colour changing lipstick. While it looks green in the tube, it turns a shade of pink on the lips that is supposed to be different for each person. It is supposed to be a result of the lipstick reacting to the alkaline level of the lips.
