This spring I have added to my Barry M collection by picking up two new pastel shades; Fondant and Sugar Apple. Soon I'll not be able to fit anymore nail polish bottles into my-my nail drawer. For reference, I keep all my nail supplies in one of the larger drawers of the Ikea Alex Nine Drawer Unit.
Fondant is a cool toned pinky-lilac shade. The colour is very unique, I don't own anything close to it. Fondant makes my already pale skin even paler looking. I found the formula of this particular shade to be a tiny bit thicker than my other Barry M shades. I used two pretty thin coats on my nails and used the Barry M Plumpy Top Coat. I did find that this shade lasts roughly two days longer on my nails than Sugar Apple does.
Sugar Apple is a soft mint green shade. I love it! When I think of spring, this is the shade I immediately imagine. It's so bright and fresh feeling. It has the usual Barry M formula, so a bit thinner than Fondant. However, it is more prone to chipping. To combat that from happening, I tend to use two coats of the Plumpy Top Coat.
Are we all ready for Spring? I'm personally looking forward to having more daylight hours!
