Product Empties | Would I Repurchase? Part 2

I received such a good response to my previous empties post that I've decided to delve back into my empties bag and share some more! I'm still struggling to remember to pop my products in the bag. My mum sees an empty-ish bottle in the bathroom and just chucks it straight in the bin. Boo!

Garnier SkinActive Micellar Cleansing Water
This is one of my love, love, love products! I will never get enough of this; it is like miracle water. By using this, I can remove my makeup so quickly and efficently. I like this handy little bottle, it's perfect for travelling or keeping in my handbag. Would I repurchase? YES! Again and again and again.

Lush Love Lettuce Fresh Face Mask
I usually love all of the Lush Fresh Face Masks, that is, all of the ones that I have tried so far. It's not that I didn't like the Love Lettuce, per say, it's just that it didn't do anything special for my skin. Just that same old, same old. Would I repurchase? I'd probaby give it another try just incase I jsut got a weird one.

The Body Shop Vitamin E Cream Cleanser
It doesn't look finished, but I promise you it is! I got this a while back as part of a value set for a couple of the Vitamin E products and this has been the only one I've finished so far. I feel like the small size of this bottle was a downsize, I was just starting to enjoy it when it ran out. It made my face feel so soft and silky smooth to the touch.Would I repurchase? I'd quite enjoy getting the full size.

Alberto Balsam Smooth and Sleek Nourishing Oil
My holy grail hair oil! It smells so fresh, clean and slightly floral. I like to use that all over my hair, focusing slightly more on the ends, and leave it on for ages. After I've blow dryed my hair, it is so soft and silky looking, so glossy as well! It doesn't leave my hair feeling heavy and weighed down.Would I repurchase? YES! I've currently ran out of it and am having consistant bad hair days.

I'd love to know what some of your recent empty products are. Or if you have used any of these products, what were your thoughts?

MAC: Fraud or Not?

It's getting to the time of year when  people start gathering together all there gifts in the rush to the holiday season. They start trying to get the best gifts possible for the best price they can. Unfortunately that leaves them vulnerable for people to take advantage of them. The most common form of this is through the use of counterfeit goods.  Recently a MAC lipstick was purchased for me, as a Christmas gift, from eBay. When I learned of it I was immediately sceptical and dubious of how genuine it was; I like to research into the item and view the pictures available myself. When I checked the listing, the lipstick was listed as 'MAC Amplified Creme Lipstick'. Upon looking at the details and the images available, I noticed that there were very few specifics and one general image of the lipstick with the lid off. I immediately wrote to the seller asking for pictures of the bottom label on the box and the lipstick tube (Well as details such as finish and shade). I kn

Totally Fabby MAC Lipstick!

I'm in the middle of shopping for new products; sort of preparing for the transition from winter to spring. Instead of picking up deep burgundies and warm chocolates, I have started to pick up pastel pinks and vanillas. I cannot wait of the warmer weather to roll in.  MAC frost lipstick in the shade Fabby was one of those new seasonal additions I picked up recently. Fabby is a really muted rosy pink shade with a frost finish. The draw point, for me, is the frost sheen gives kind of a golden overlay to the lips. The golden tone just adds an extra dimension, and helps brighten up any makeup look.  For being a frost finish, the colour pigmentation is quite opaque with a single swipe. The texture is not that creamy, and I don't mean that in a bad way. I'd describe it more as very similar to that of a MAC matte finish; creamy and not glossy. I feel that Fabby is one of MACs more overlooked shades; passed over in favour of the more hyped about lipstic

Barry M Colour Changing Lip Paint in Neptune

Remember way, way back, back to the very beginning of my blog. One of the very first products that I reviewed was the Barry M Lip Paint in the shade Genie. For those who don't know, Genie is an unusual colour changing lipstick. While it looks green in the tube, it turns a shade of pink on the lips that is supposed to be different for each person. It is supposed to be a result of the lipstick reacting to the alkaline level of the lips.
